Immediate Dentures are fitted at the time your natural teeth are extracted. It takes approximately 3 months for your bone and gum tissue to heal after your natural teeth have been extracted. Once your bone and gums have healed, they will have changed shape and because of this you will need either your immediate dentures relined or a new denture. Usually an immediate denture is a temporary solution and new dentures are the best option for you once all your healing has taken place.
