Light Alloy Dentures

This type of denture is more commonly known as a chrome cobalt denture.

Light Alloy Denture advantages:

• Stronger and more durable than standard plastic dentures, especially suitable for anyone who has a history of breaking their pink plastic dentures
• Generally lighter due to the thinner material
• Designs can sometimes allow for less of your palate to be covered allowing for a greater sense of taste when eating

Light Alloy Denture disadvantages:

• It is harder to alter or reline the metal framework if your mouth shape changes over time
• They are generally more expensive to provide than standard acrylic denture alternatives
