Acrylic Partial Dentures are a type of removable partial denture designed to give a natural tooth appearance.  This type of denture fills the gaps you have where you have lost real natural teeth.

Acrylic Partial Denture advantages:

• Easier to reline or modify this type of denture if your gums change shape over time
• Suitable when multiple teeth are missing
• Easier when adding new denture teeth

Acrylic Partial Denture disadvantages:

• The average human biting force is about 120 to 162 pounds per square inch (PSI) and therefore this type of denture can sometime break. Light alloy dentures commonly called a chrome cobalt denture is sometimes a more suitable option.
